@WDFurGamer@cold_dweller His big takeaway was to be on the winning side of the coalition. This is observable with mass corruption campaigns (there is a lot of corruption, but politican oppenents get thrown into i) and Xi Jinping Thought. Xi is a devout believer in the ccp and basically non-corruptable.
@WDFurGamer@cold_dweller What's fascinating if you read into the Xi with his experience and how he interpreted. The CR jailed his father (political opponent), and sent Xi and his sister to the countryside by force (Rustication), but Xi's takeaway wasn't authoritarian and mao bad.
@y47wb8r74j@cold_dweller I don't agree that it was a genocide nor does it actually meet the legal qualifications of a genocide, but it was Mao's fault because he ignored the warnings. Not a fully intentional 40+ million deaths, but still his fault.
@WDFurGamer@cold_dweller It is. Idk why Maoists bootlick him for Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution when the CCP doesn't. Mao was clearly at fault because he killed/terrorized people that dared to question him about policy decsions.
@cold_dweller They view him as a great revolutionary and leader, but not the best politician sometimes. Thats why they condemn the Cultural Revolution. I have a degree in this subject 😃
@cold_dweller Mao was also sidelined by the CCP for major poliy decisions and leadership after this because even the CCP knew it was his fault. This led to Mao using the Cultural Revolution to regain power. If you read CCP documents and opinions, its very much a 70-30% view of Mao.
@mack_a_d00@mehdirhasan That was a comment about an uptick in plane accidents while there was a loss of air traffic controllers from Trumps dysfunctional policies.
Stop being disingenous
Utterly fucking insane thing to say.
More than 50 years of science show vaccines do not cause autism.
In fact, we actually have a very strong understanding of the leading drivers of autism.
None of which are post-natal.
0 studies ever have linked vaccines to autism.
@RepEpstein@nise_yoshimi Jiang's rise required Tiananmen Square massacre. Successive leadership was beginning but ceased from the death of Hu Yaobang and removal of Zhao Ziyang (he was blamed for 1989 massacre). These two primary choices ending led to Jiang being the successor.
@LeeWynnson36442@nise_yoshimi Btw I am not defending the great leap forward, cultural revolution, and the deaths under Mao. It was horrific what happened. Mao was an awful politician.
@LeeWynnson36442@nise_yoshimi The deaths during Mao's reign, great leap forward, cultural revolution, and maos death were partial requirements for Dengs opening up and industrialization.
@RepEpstein@nise_yoshimi The cultural revolution, Xi's family's punishment, rustication, tiananmen massacre, Deng's opening up, and collapse of the ussr were mostly the primary requirements for Xi Jinpings rise and ideology.
@RdnckGroyperDlx@Liberty_Xtreme@nypost They removed the borderline range and thats why it was lowered. Besides, socioeconomic conditions affect IQ variance and thats among all races. Genetic plays very little part. Africans had lower access to sufficient socioeconomic conditons, which affected it. Not race related.
@RdnckGroyperDlx@Liberty_Xtreme@nypost Still, a unoriginal response. I swear, you guys have to come up with some new insult. Please go back to reddit.
