Here’s the infamous “JaLeN hUrTs ExPeRiEnCe” play where he took a sack.

➡️ No one is open, not even a checkdown.

➡️ He can’t step up because there’s a late blitzer coming from the 2nd level and up the middle.

➡️ Don’t tell me he should take the sack sooner when other great QBs hold onto the ball long like this. Why is it ok for Hurts and them to do so? Because most of the time they’re able to make a positive play out of nothing.

If you follow me you know I’m not shy or hesitant to critique Hurts and point out areas he needs to get better at. But I’m also going to defend him when the ridicule gets out of hand. Pointing out one “bad” play in a game where he played great (again) is just proving you have an agenda against him and aren’t being objective.
