This VJ Day, while everyone remembers our British troops and Allied Forces (as is right to), I’m spending the day primarily remembering the innocent people who died because of the unjust atomic bomb. An absolutely abhorrent invention. I remember them and grieve for them.

I’ve noticed a greater shift to simple living. We’re not made to be in such a fast paced, noisy, and stressful world. You can’t blame people for struggling to get along with it. Simple living all the way! Back to our roots.

Glad to see Eid al-Fitr prayers on the BBC this morning! A great triumph for interfaith awareness. Sadly it did not come without its share of complaints. Goes to show how important it is to broadcast, and indeed learn about, other faiths.

Went to visit a mosque this evening as part of my studies. What a fantastic experience! Islam and Christianity have so much in common. It was an eye opening evening, learnt a lot, and have seen how peaceful and loving Islam is.
