This week, @SecBlinken traveled to Paris where he met with French President Macron and other officials to discuss our support for Ukraine, the conflict in Gaza, and stabilizing Haiti. He then headed to Belgium for the @NATO #ForMin and celebrated the Alliance’s 75th Anniversary.

@tweetsbenedict this is a perennial discussion in foreign policy. we use the military as our go to tool for solving foreign policy problems because we’re really good at mobilizing DoD’s seemingly infinite capabilities, even though solutions based on diplomacy or development would be better.
