Devastating and absolutely chilling. 💔
The news of Monica Dube’s passing has sent shockwaves through the community. The EFF Tshwane Region 2 Secretary was targeted in a violent attack at her Wallmannsthal home, an act that took place in the presence of her family.
This tragedy follows a previous attempt on her life just months ago, from which she had remarkably recovered after a lengthy stay in intensive care. To have her journey cut short in such a manner is a profound loss.
There are urgent calls for the South African Police Service to act swiftly and ensure those responsible are held accountable. This targeted violence against community leaders must be addressed with the full weight of the law.
Rest in Power, Monica Dube.
