genuinely curious: i consistently see Ebuka Okorie mocked low on most intel-driven consensus boards (anywhere from low 10s to bottom 20s), yet i don't think i've seen any real attempts to account for the supposed gap between him and Brown, Flemings and Acuff
this isn't a dig at people who put out these mocks, but have i missed something?
There’s a certain type of basketball fan who tries to over intellectualize when a player stinks it up bc they think it makes them look smart. “No no no you have to understand. This guy having 4 points in a game 7 was actually a fault of scheming and mismanagement by the coaching staff” yadda yadda yadda.
So I appreciate it when a genius level basketball mind like Legler just cuts thru all the bullshit like “nah this ain’t have shit to do with x’s and o’s. That mf was just scared” bc it’s really quiet often just that simple
serious, committed programs will get real results in this era and will spend their way out of prior mistakes. Providence College seems to be very much that. credit where it's due. some need to follow or will continue to be left behind.
BREAKING: Westchester Knicks guard Dink Pate has committed to Providence, his agent Sam Permut of @RocNationSports told ESPN. G-League star turned down two-way and 10-day opportunities to maintain eligibility. Former top-30 recruit is averaging 16.0 PPG this season.
I don’t know who can get this program back - but it is becoming harder and harder to think it’s Ed. I’d bet a ton against it ever happening on his watch
NEWS: Georgetown guard KJ Lewis plans to enter the @TransferPortal, he tells @On3. The 6-4 junior averaged 14.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game this season. All-Big East Third Team. Represented by @KlutchSports.

Do not give Cooley the excuse of 'nobody can win there'. We all know the issues, but what a lame cop out, he has done an awful job and it's undeniable at this rate.
@_HoyaParanoia_ Xavier year one = better, DePaul year 2 = better.....I mean we're not asking for conf titles here, just don't completely suck is the new bar and he can't get there
@NYParkingKing Yeah zero holes in his game. I do worry how he holds up vs elite athletes/length to really be a cornerstone guy. Kinda Kevin love career trajectory maybe imo
Went back and watched AJ Dybantsa's performance last night. Some of these plays were outstanding.
His lower body strength, balance, and power will allow him to score no matter the level.
Changes directions so easily and covers so much ground when attacking a defense.
This program has relayed the message at the time of the last two hires that they aspire to contend on a national level. Based on that, and being no closer from when he took over, he should be trending towards fired after this year. If you were serious.
