What does it take to repower the combat information center of a warship that’s been dark since the 1970s? 

Hundreds of volunteer hours. Skilled hands. Careful planning. And a whole lot of pride.

What began as volunteers lending a hand grew into something much bigger. Thanks to the dedication of our crews, working alongside the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park, spaces aboard the USS Little Rock are illuminated once again, opening new areas for visitors to explore, learn, and remember.

What a fun and memorable day at the @YMCALI (YMCA of Huntington’s) Touch A Truck event! Our gas operations team from Long Island stopped by so preschoolers could get a close-up look at our trucks, climb into the driver’s seat, and meet the people who help keep their communities running every day.

One of the biggest highlights? Watching the kids play with hula hoops made from gas pipes by our team - proof that learning can be hands-on and fun. Thank you to the YMCA of Huntington for hosting such a wonderful community event.
