The PPLC Legal & Disputes Subcommittee, @ORPPKenya met to develop memoranda which shall be submitted to Parliament on 22nd July, 2024

The Steering Committee of the PPLC met at Kyaka Hotel, Machakos County to deliberate on various documents and Bills which are before Parliament.

The meeting was organized by the Netherlands Institute of Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). @WeAreNIMD

The Legal and Disputes Resolution Subcommittee of PPLC held a meeting to:
1. Prepare the Memorandum on the IEBC (Amendment) Bill, which will be  presented to the Senate.
2. Finalizing on Guidelines for Nomination & Election of Officials.

The Political Parties, IEBC and ORPP considered the PPLC Nomination Guidelines documents and adopted them with amendments.

It has been a busy working retreat for the PPLC Legal and Disputes Resolutions Sub-Committee as they finalized on these key documents:
● The Political Parties Liaison Committee Regulations, 2014
● PPLC Disputes Resolutions Rules
● PPLC Code of Conduct
● Terms of Reference

PPLC Steering Committee on a two days Working Retreat to set the ground for development of a PPLC Strategic Plan and to review and finalize on PPLC work plans and budget for Financial Year 2023-2024 at The Kyaka Hotel, Machakos County.

PPLCPlenary Meeting at Lake Naivasha Resort. The annual report for all activities carried out was tabled and the next financial year work plans were discussed by the members.

As PPLC we are deeply saddened by the passing on of our colleague Hon. Amisi Omukanda 'the only Chief Party Leader in Kenya' of Maendeleo Democratic Party (MDP).  He has made quite an ernomous contribution in the political arena for which we are inspired to soldier on. #RIPCPL
