Project Spotlight: NCGA's Trade, Transportation, and Animal Ag Action Team

The Trade Policy Academy gives corn grower advocates the background they need to push for more export demand. This is critical, because trade deals like the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) help drive corn markets. USMCA alone accounts for $60 billion in agricultural exports, including the biggest export markets for U.S. corn and ethanol.

Delivered in partnership with the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, the Academy has grown over the years to reach 100+ farmer advocates who want a deeper understanding of global markets, economics, and trade deals.

The Trade, Transportation, and Animal Ag Action Team is a group of farmer-volunteers guiding corn checkoff investments that grow demand and protect the value of U.S. corn and corn products.
