I can only imagine how many birds die from hitting the opera house and the other buildings and then fall to the terraces where they are easily swept under the rug before opening. This glass canopy is hard to reach so they are on display, as many as 10 at a time.

Best place in the city to see dead birds is the glass canopy below the glass window at the @nypl at @LincolnCenter. This is a decade+ old known issue and is unacceptable. You have to do better, fix your windows and lighting. #respectwildlife #birdcpp
