Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.

In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.

While having an explosive running back who can score a rushing TD from anywhere, putting the defense back on the field quickly can also hurt the team. There's something to be said about pounding the rock and keeping thr defense more fresh. Seahawks current RBs can do that.

An interesting take: why couldn't Shaheed take RB snaps (lined up as a RB) this season? Review his return film and see how well he sees the lanes opening up and as a WR, knows how to catch. Reaffirm his QB protection and boom, a hybrid weapon is born.
