If you haven't roadtested Shopify's new collections, you should. It's a massive step in the right direction.

I love almost everything about it. But there is one big gap, the sorting options are still super basic.

But @Native_App_Co had already built a tool that lets you create advanced sorting rules, and it complements the native @Shopify functionality perfectly.

I didn't want to create a gimmicky free audit tool for Product Pelican, but I also want @Shopify store owners to be able to see where they can improve their catalogues without having to install an app on their store.

It just looks at the publicly available data for your store and shows you where there is room for improvement.

It wont describe your catalogue as "catastrophic" or "totally fucked" just because you have some room for improvement (although if your score is 100 it will set off fireworks and show a family of dancing monkeys).

But it will give you the same measured guidance that we're trying to give people who use Product Pelican.

It's something stores know they should have, it's not high enough impact to justify doing manually, but is high enough impact to do with AI.
