China has banned for-profit private schools providing primary and junior secondary education, based on the principle that schools should not be profit-making businesses.
China prohibits individuals and businesses from establishing private schools to profit from the education of children aged 6 to 15, maintaining that basic education must not become a commercial enterprise.
Private schools are still permitted, but those providing compulsory education must operate as non-profit institutions. Their founders cannot distribute profits to themselves.
“I’m a product of public schools. As long as I remain in office as governor, never again will our public schools remain the way they were before.”
— Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
An emotional moment today between Governor Alex Otti and one of the students who represented Nigeria and emerged victorious at the 2026 International Schools Debate Championship in Doha, Qatar.
The student broke down in tears of joy after delivering her speech, wishing her late father were alive to witness her remarkable achievement. She lost her father when she was just four years old.
Governor Alex Otti offered her a scholarship covering her education from secondary school to the highest level.
My observations at Aba within two days.
1. There is good road network. The roads are well maintained with a few pot holes here and there.
2. The city is well lit with street lights.
3. The streets are very neat. I didn't see refuse dumped indiscriminately.
4. There is security. There wasn't any sense of tension. Nobody harassed us as my team went around with our filming equipment.
5. Light was in good supply though it wasn't 24 hours stable.
6. The city wasn't littered with campaign posters and billboards.
7. The citizens appeared to be very happy and everybody was busy labouring. I didn't encounter beggars. There might be but I didn't get to see any.
8. High-rise buildings were all over the place.
9. Transportation is efficient in Aba and it is big business. Many people from other parts of the country and outside the country come in to buy and carry goods out of Aba.
10. The citizens spoke highly of their governor and are ready to challenge whoever tries to demarket his works.
@KKizito163093@gaiuschibueze@Ichie_Crypto100 A woman that is working is 70% certain to bill you. The one that is working is 100% certain to bill you. You are only safe if she is very wealthy or a daddy's girl. If not, be sure to be billed. This new trend is indeed disgvsting.
And you say you don’t believe the Adam and Eve story? 😂😂😂😂😂
Okay let me ask you:
Look at the two cute armed robbers in this video. Who ate the stolen cookie first and gave the other person? 😂 😂 😂

God’s Heaven Baby
And for those I have forgotten, I beg for God’s pardon. These are the little victories he has used to shape the woman I am growing to be.
A destiny bigger than the shoes I walk in.
I have done everything I wanted, and it was indeed more than I thought it would be.
Today, I celebrate more than the gift of life. I celebrate resilience in the face of adversity, courage in the face of unjust persecution, and extraordinary strength to continue to rise and win against odds that would have broken so many.
I pray that I may never lose the courage to dream, the wisdom to discern, or the strength to keep growing even when the odds are against me.
Today is not just another birthday. It is a reminder that I am still here, still standing, still growing, still winning, and still capable of becoming more than everything destiny has in store for me.
I pray for God’s Blessings, Grace, Protection and Divine Favour.
Happy Birthday Serah Ibrahim. May this new chapter be the beginning of your most victorious years yet.
Do well to include me in your prayers today 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻
The journey continues.
Am I overthinking this? Because I am genuinely struggling to understand what is happening in Nigeria.
@inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed.
Even under Mahmood Yakubu, the register was published online, with a mechanism for complaints and objections.
Today, NOTHING!
And somehow, the country has moved on like nothing happened.
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
Apart from @ARISEtv and @fijnigeria, where is the Nigerian media?
Where are @YIAGA, @EUinNigeria@EU_SDGN , @NDI and the other civil society organisations?
@NigeriaNDCHQ .@ADCNig ARE YOU PEOPLE SLEEPING? Are you actually preparing for this election?
This is the voters’ register we are talking about. THE VERY FOUNDATION OF AN ELECTION!
INEC has effectively said, “To hell with public scrutiny. Do your worst.”
And our collective response is SILENCE.
I am genuinely pained.
We complain about electoral malpractice and compromised institutions, yet when it is time to demand accountability BEFORE an election, everybody suddenly goes quiet.
Must we wait until votes are cast and results are disputed before we start shouting?
Seriously, am I the only one who finds this silence deeply disturbing?
