Freezing rain is expected. We continue to advise drivers to avoid traveling if possible, but if necessary take it slow and use extreme caution.

BREAKING: #Tornado watch deemed "particularly dangerous situation" (PDS) issued for parts of Iowa, Missouri, Illinois and extreme southwest Wisconsin until 8p CT.

Per NOAA/SPC, the rarely-used PDS phrase in a tornado watch means long-lived, intense tornadoes are likely.
