@hellhundur @SegnF32138_ @ngel5_ You're arguing against a position I never took. "He's looking for praise for doing the bare minimum" and "he's mad he couldn't cheat" are two completely different claims.
The first is an opinion you can reasonably draw from the screenshots.
The second is mind-reading.

I don't think the continuation proves what you're claiming it proves. The later messages tell us what he meant, not that his original wording was unambiguous. If his meaning was obvious, she wouldn't have interpreted it the way she did, and he wouldn't have needed to clarify later that he meant he was being a "good boy." My point was never that her reaction was correct. I said I'd probably have interpreted it similarly. The difference is that I would've asked for clarification before treating that interpretation as fact.

The continuation just reinforces my original view: he worded it poorly, she jumped to a conclusion, and both handled the conversation badly afterward.
