‘DRUG WAR: A CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE’ HOLDS PILOT SCREENING
The upcoming limited series “Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence” held its first official pilot screening for members of the press in Manila this week.
Produced by Rein Entertainment in collaboration with KC Global Media, “Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence” follows themes of faith, guilt, conviction and survival. The series is led by Ian Veneracion as a priest in crisis, Jane Oineza as a policewoman with a conscience and Harvey Bautista as the protégé at the center of the mystery.
The cast also includes Romnick Sarmenta, Lotlot de Leon and Yayo Aguila. The project also marks the screen return of Volpi Cup winner John Arcilla.
The series is written and directed by "Bagman" creator Shugo Praico, who was also Asian Academy Creative Awards national winner for Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay for “Nanahimik ang Gabi.”
The project is co-executive produced by Emmy Award-winning television executives Andy Kaplan and George Chien of KC Global Media.

The screening followed the release of the series’ official trailer, which has surpassed one million aggregate views across multiple platforms.
Announcements on the series’ streaming and local and international broadcast partnerships are expected in the coming weeks.
