it's kinda funny how, despite modern gaming being OBSESSED with being seen as "cinematic", the industry still treats the fixed camera format, which is the only one capable of recreating the actual look and feel of deliberate cinematography, as some ancient unspeakable taboo
@bududubdubdubs@NorthernIion_LP There is a whole lot going on with Blade Runner subtextually. It asks huge metaphysical questions and through the exploration of its characters leaves a lot to chew on. It just doesn't beat its ideas over the viewers head.
@MattSwartz723 I think if Daley returns to his former self post-injury he is probably a bigger add, but I totally agree nonetheless - Buchanan screams NFL future. And our TE room is actually sneaky thin right now after missing on Olesh and Ludwig in the last two recruiting classes.
@Alex_Drain One thing I've learned from the Sherrone era is that it likely wouldn't have mattered either way. The Moore era wouldn't have changed much even if the entire 2023 staff got retained. If Scalley is truly a good HC, then he/Utah won't be derailed by KW taking some assistants.
@NathanA53112312@StuInTheStu@sbell021 He wasn't let go or fired. He leapt to the NFL. Southern Miss wouldn't have fired him after he won conference coach of the year, lol.
Also, "13-25" is really unfair. He took over a program that went 0-12 before he arrived and completely turned them around.
@SheriffCovid@ZSH1119@BarstoolUofM Michigan had one of the elite special teams units in the country each year of that 21-23 run (just check the FEI ratings) and in the Bama game had botched kicks, punts, and returns that were huge uncharacteristic outliers for them.
@SheriffCovid@ZSH1119@BarstoolUofM The difference of course is that Bama team was prone to doing that all year. Milroe was a turnover prone QB, their center had known snap issues that popped up in multiple games, etc. (1/2)
@trevormccue Also.. I love Tre Donaldson and everything he did for us. But even against the mid-majors and "cupcakes" last year, our offense rarely looked as free-flowing and smooth as it does in this game with Cadeau running the point.
@sbell021 I've been INSANELY frustrated with Wink this game, but in this specific instance... Yes. USC would absolutely do that. Lincoln Riley is not really a coach known to play game management. He wants to score and attack no matter the game situation.
@sgeorgetter It's funny, I have seen a few "fire Wink" takes from the Michigan side, but I was also reading a Nebraska blog and their consensus was "Wink is one of the most creative DCs in the game, his exotic pressures really hurt Raiola and our OL"
@World0fEcho That guy tries so hard to posture but so many of his posts are such low-effort engagement-bait. He also tried to claim Severance was "slop" because it's written with the intent of getting you to watch the next episode. When that's literally... Every TV show in history.
