Trump’s plan is basically to get Europe to defend Greenland and let them pay for it. He knows that China and Russia are high in Greenland for its resources. He also knows that Denmark is too weak to actually defend anything. So if he can get all of your up to defend Greenland, then he has just saved the United States a ton of money and if Europe doesn’t wimp out, then Greenland will be protected from Russia in China, wanting to take it over themselves. That’s how I see it.
