I’m a big believer in reciprocation. You reach out, I reach out. You check on me, I check on you. You make an effort, I make an effort. You show me love, I’ll gladly give it right back. But if you become distant, stop putting in effort or make me feel like I’m the only one trying to maintain the connection, I’ll eventually match that energy too.
