@HMRCcustomers THEN she says “oh let me ask you some security questions so had my ID to hand and she asks when was the first exact date I last called HMRC how would I remember that THEN she gives me another helpline to call who I was going n hold for 30 minutes then it just cut me off! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

@HMRCcustomers If only it was that easy! That option does not exist. When you click “problem receiving my code” it suggests calling a number which I have been on hold for over 2 hours THEN when I got through Ishe got me to download a digital identity app which has not helped in the slightest

@MoneySavingExp Please also highlight the truth in switching that a customer will have to pay the old bill, the new bill in the same month and if entitled to a refund it could take up to 6 weeks so your funds have to be able to cover that all

@MoneySavingExp It’s NOT that easy unless you have the money to actually pay 2 bills in one month (to your existing supplier & the new one) and then HAVE to wait 6 weeks for some sort of refund from your old supplier 🙄😞
