Few weeks back this tender white flower (Carolina Elephant’s-Foot) was in bloom. A milkweed assassin bug stopped by to surprise nectar-loving bugs. Its plan: Jump on the bug, sting it with its facial protrusion, liquify its insides and suck it up. Predator!
