@jillwebb2005 These lyrics always come to mind and encapsulate much, I'd say: "True it's a dream mixed with nostalgia, but it's a dream that I'll always hang on to, that I'll always run to..." - "Tales From The Riverbank" (The Jam)
Yesterday Arthur 'Gaps'Hendrickson, co- lead singer of The Selecter for the past 45 years, was laid to rest in Coventry.
A sad day, but also joyous. Coventry, city of Peace and Reconciliation brought together those who had not spoken for years. Gaps still worked his magic.
@liamgallagher Will see/hear you there! Via Toronto. Was at your first Oasis Vancouver, BC show back in the day (and the coin tossing no go, wasn't me)... OG Roses in the DF in 2013. Also, the Seahorses on their first (and only?) NA tour, but this is MUCH more exciting... Love the album, PEACE
I had a great chat today with musical archaeologist Kevin Howes from @NatureVoluntary about his Jamaica to Toronto, Native North America and Willie Dunn compilations and so much more.
