So good to see so many ideas to highlight to society the role of saltmarshes as a great contributor for good water quality, which will also prevent aquifers contamination 😃🌱🌍💧 @mar2protect@CiimarUp
Did you know that saltmarshes are great Nature based solutions also for pollutants removal? By protecting and restoring these great wetlands we move forward towards zero pollution 💪💪🌱🌱🌍🌍🌊🌊 @Natureproject20@mar2protect
Talking about nature based solutions towards zero pollution at Department Chemistry, University of Torino, Italy - the potential of natural and constructed wetlands 🌱🌱🌍🌊 in the frame of our projects @Natureproject20@biosysmo@mar2protect

Exciting days in Alcalá de Henares, Spain! 🇪🇸
Two-day meetings for #Aquaticpollutants & #WaterWorks2017#fundedprojects presenting their Mid-term & final reviews respectively💧
👥 Thanks all participants for coming and sharing incredible developments achieved during the research.
For one hour yesterday at the Midterm Meeting, all the projects from both #AquaticPollutants and #WaterWorks were given the opportunity to talk with each other in small groups to discuss questions or problems, exchange expertise and identify collaboration opportunities.
Two-days meeting talking about how we can use nature based solutions to remove antibiotics, #AMR and pathogens at river catchment level, from wastewater treatment to estuarine areas. @IDAEA_CSIC@CiimarUp@KilianWater@KITKarlsruhe@AarhusUni
It's #worldwaterday! Today, the UN draws attention to how important save #water resources are for all of us - and how big the problem of #waterpollution is. We carry out research and innovation to address the challenge of #AMR, CECs and #pathogens polluting our water systems.
📰The @Natureproject20 is featured in the March edition of the @aquapollutants#newsletter, showing how 🌿#NatureBasedSolutions reduce the presence of antibiotics, antimicrobial resistance and pathogens on rivers.
