Our first group survey of the season struck gold this morning on the @PebblebedHeathsโ West Hawkerland survey. We found two breeding nests, so another hectad can be coloured in on our map! Thank you everyone who came to help.

@MeganShersby As someone working in antique conservation I think it would be alright - we have lots of taxidermy near lights, I think it would ultimately depend on how long you planned to have the light on at a time and if the light made the things inside warm

A good example of the tokenism that so often passes for 'action' on biodiversity collapse: a 'bug hotel', plonked in a garden of
a) Sterile lawns
b) Alien plants
It's shocking, I know, but what wildlife *really* needs is actual wild, natural HABITAT.
