Why are we latching onto Sandy Hook though? There are plenty of other, more recent, mass shootings. It seems odd that you've focused on this particular one. Is it because the other ones don't fit your narrative quite as well? Just guessing. I really don't understand.

Ambient temperature
Refrigerant used
How many stages? Residential = 1 of course
Age of the system
Etc...

A refrigeration system is not capable of continuously cooling below the environmental conditions it was designed for by just running it for a longer time.

Put the typical cooling system designed for use in Poland in Dubai and it will disappoint.
