Canada now has full-time workers living in Highway 401 carpool parking lots.
They're not unemployed. They're not refusing to work. They're working, showering, sleeping in trailers, and hoping to save enough for first and last month's rent.
Meanwhile politicians celebrate population growth, record housing targets, and labour shortages.
The reality is working Canadians are being priced out of their own country.
🚨 CANADIANS ARE BREAKING DOWN ON CAMERA
And it’s truly sad that social media is now flooded with regular people falling apart like this.
This guy and his wife pull in six figures. They’re “lower upper class.”
He just left the grocery store and he’s sitting in his truck, emotional:
“How are people making $60k, $70k, even $80k a year fucking surviving in Canada right now?”
He’s struggling to pay for groceries.
$5 broccoli.
Strawberries that rot in three days.
“Something’s gotta change… this isn’t sustainable for anybody.”
These aren’t the “poor.” These are the people who are supposed to be doing okay.
Liberalism did this.
The cost of living crisis they created, the inflation they ignored, the policies that crushed productivity and drove prices through the roof — this is the result.
While they lecture us about “climate” and “equity,” real Canadians are in their cars after grocery shopping, breaking down.
This is what a recession looks like when it hits normal people.
If you’re feeling this too — you’re not weak. You’re awake.

@MaritStiles It is outrageous. In Ontario we are taxed to death. Most of our paycheques gone before we even get the paystub, much of the taxes going to healthcare. Instead of running it efficiently the @fordnation & his MPPs are letting the system collapse & making us pay more. Unacceptable.
Thousands of protesters accused the Ford government of privatizing public hospitals at a rally at Queen’s Park on Thursday.
Given the government’s significant investments in private clinics, I ask the health minister if Ontario is now operating a two-tier health-care system:
@raghu_venugopal@richardwarnica Yup. I watched a woman bleed out her miscarriage on a chair in the ER waiting room. We also had to watch our mother in agony for hours until she was in a fatal condition and got treatment.
The Ford govt has made multiple announcements in Brampton for healthcare- not one shovel.
I wish the Ontario patient in agony in an ER chair (because there are no open beds) had the same lobbying capacity like the American bank JP Morgan worth $795 billion and who own Billy Bishop airport. Protect Ontario. Op-Ed by @richardwarnica

This whole Billy Bishop expansion is being driven by an American bank that won't even disclose its role in the lobbying campaign. Doug Ford is destroying Toronto's waterfront to help out American bankers at our expense.
Torontonians aren’t asking for a runway on the lake so Bay Street CEOs can land their private jets. They’re asking for better health care, smaller class sizes, and safer highways in Northern Ontario. Those are the priorities that matter.
@EMC03529122@NavdeepSBains Anyone who isn’t Indigenous in this land, has adopted a culture/religion from a foreign country.
And that’s what makes up Canada.
Picking up a history book never did anyone any wrong.
Have a wonderful day.
So they basically want to dumb down the population by stripping schools & access to information so they can start selling a new “utility of intelligence”.
Erin Brockovich has launched a website and has begun tracking all data centers in America and logging resident complaints
In just 1 week it’s already logged 1,690 resident complaints
For this who don’t remember
Erin Brockovich was the paralegal responsible for winning out a case against PG&E, Hinckley in California, because their wastewater runoff was seeping into rural areas and creating a lot of health issues for, for the surrounding neighborhoods
That case brought in a $333 million settlement that went to the families affected by the situation because a lot of them either had staggering medical bills due to their tap water was no longer safe
So why is this important, well residents all over America are reporting their tap water and river water is being heavily polluted by data centers
Her map of data centers is new, she just launched it
The website features an interactive US map showing operational, under-construction, and proposed AI data centers, overlaid with community-reported complaints
Residents can submit reports with details, photos, and locations. Within days of launch, it received a surge of submissions over 1,600 in the first week, and reports of 1,800+ from 47 states shortly after
Common Resident Complaints Being Logged
- Water usage
- Raising utility bills for residents
- Noise pollution: Constant 24/7 humming from fans, generators, and cooling systems disrupting sleep, daily life, and wildlife.
- E-waste from frequent hardware upgrades, pollution including PFAS concerns
Surrey toddler Gurmoh’s parents, along with community members are walking more than 120 km to the B.C. Legislature facing an urgent fight to access treatment for their 3-yr-old son, Gurmoh Gill, who has a neurodegenerative disease called spastic paraplegia-4 (SPG4) that is causing him to lose the ability to walk, eat & speak.
To begin treatment, the family needs $2.7M to accelerate the development of a personalized gene therapy at McGill University that could help stop the disease from progressing. The Gills have already raised $2M but the overall cost could reach up to $8M .
The fam & supporters began their journey, from Vancouver with stops in several cities before reaching BC Capital on Monday, where they are expected to meet with the B.C. Health Minister.

Canadians are shelling out more than $1 billion for a few of this year's World Cup games.
Why are politicians forking over $1 billion to FIFA executives when governments are drowning in red ink and everyday taxpayers are struggling with the rising cost of living?
