@NavNorth is happy to support months of work and planning with @SmithsonianLab to assist with today's amazing release of +2.6 million digital resources as part of #SmithsonianOpenAccess. Can't wait to see how teams will blend their imagination with these incredible objects!
We're looking to learn more about #museums, technology, and distance learning—and we’d love to hear from you! Consider taking our survey: https://t.co/sbt63ST4LU

@philbarker no, but we should add that in future versions. it will require giving the admins options for aligning internal taxonomies with schema_org elements (due to flexible labeling) but that shouldn't be too hard to cover. Great suggestion @philbarker
How did we take the things we learned in custom #edTech dev over the last 20 years and release them to the #OSS world? via OER and Curriculum #WordPress plugins. I'm @joehobson, the lead techie at NavNorth and here's a quick version of the story
#PressEdConf20 1/15
@pressedconf start with the WP-OER plugin, try it out, publish some resources, connect with us on GitHub to help make it better

Overall, we have enjoyed working with #WordPress and putting out some small-scale #OSS, even when the biz model for it isn't very clear.
Comments? Questions? Ideas?

What's next? Standards mgmt should move to @imsglobal CASE framework. Editor control over metadata order/placement. Gutenberg blocks. Better import/export support. Better organizational tools. Support for front-end users to create Curriculum

While we are excited to celebrate the California Historical Society's upcoming launch of their new Teaching California site, we'd like to provide a glimpse of some of the unseen research work we conduct when helping a client create a new platform. https://t.co/IJZgcSnnaN
