I’m glad I read the report that said the Red phone’s rotary dial was changed to a button.. otherwise I would’ve called it a lazy design lol

🎃 #28 - Little Red Riding Hood of the Cursed Forest
Since childhood, she had heard stories about the girl who carried sweets to her grandmother. In every version, Little Red Riding Hood was an innocent child, deceived by a cruel wolf.
But that story ended differently.
That night, when she reached her grandmother's cabin, she found the door slightly open and the inside filled with the smell of blood. The furniture had been destroyed, the walls were covered in claw marks, and her grandmother lay dead in the bedroom.
Someone had left a message written in blood on the wooden door:
HE ALWAYS COMES BACK.
She didn't cry until she managed to leave the forest. Then she wept for hours.
And when the tears finally stopped, she made a promise: she would find the creature responsible and make it pay.
Years passed. She learned to track monsters, perfected her blades, and discovered that the killer was no ordinary wolf. It was an ancient creature capable of changing its shape, imitating human voices, and luring victims with the things they trusted most.
From that day on, she wore a red hood. Not to remember the girl she had once been, but to make sure the creature knew who was coming for it.
Finally, after years of following tracks and investigating disappearances, she found signs of the wolf in the same forest where her grandmother had died.
The cabin remained abandoned.
Outside the door, enormous footprints vanished among the trees.
She followed the trail to a clearing, where the wolf was waiting. Its silhouette was far too large, its eyes glowed like embers, and a smile full of teeth spread across its muzzle.
"You're late, Little Red," it growled.
She spun one of her blades between her fingers.
"I was deciding what to wear to your funeral."
The wolf lunged.
The fight tore through the clearing, breaking branches and staining the snow with blood. The creature was stronger, but she knew its movements, its illusions, and the tricks it used to confuse its victims.
When the wolf tried to imitate her grandmother's voice, she hesitated for just one second.
It was enough for the creature to smile.
And enough for her to drive her blade into its chest.
By dawn, the forest was silent. For the first time in decades, no howls echoed between the trees.
She returned to the cabin and hung a piece of the creature's black fur on the door, pierced by her blade.
It wasn't a trophy.
It was a warning.
Little Red Riding Hood was never seen in the village again. But ever since that night, whenever a monster begins hunting travelers in the forest, a woman in a red hood appears between the trees.
And every monster eventually discovers the same truth:
The wolf wasn't the only one who learned how to hunt.
