and I mean, overall.. it's imposter syndrome. I feel very siloed in the space and like I really don't know enough to be giving talks. I look (up to and) at people like Larry Garfield and definitely feel like a tiny fish in a massive pond.

I could DEFINITELY do a talk on MessageFormat - as I feel that's still an under-known/utilized portion of PHP, especially with stuff like Marko making their own pluralization engines.

A neat smart watch would be one that's like the Pixel Watch combined with the Fitbit Air. You have a watch band with a small sensor built into it and a watch face. You take the face off at night to charge and when you put it back on it wirelessly charges the band sensor

‼️ BREAKING: Journalists hid an Airtag in a rare book shipment and confirmed Amazon to be one of the buyers behind the bulk orders destroying rare-books to feed their AI.

They tracked it to Amazon's LAS8 warehouse in Las Vegas, home to VGT3 (see logo below), a scanning operation feeding Amazon's AI training data, where workers say they cut the bindings off books to scan them faster.

Amazon won't say why the books are destroyed.

I'm really tempted to start a twitter account that just shames official trailers into posting in their actual aspect ratio.
