It is my absolute honor to share that I am now a member of the Dutch Directors Guild (DDG) in the Netherlands.
I offer my gratitude to the respected board of the DDG for welcoming me into the large and diverse family of film directors in the Netherlands.
@yashar The question is why they send out a press release for their own failures, and make sure everyone - including people in Iran - reads it.
I think Israel is preparing to attack Iran, and wants people in Iran to know that it is for regime change.
@AlirezaNader What is "the language of human rights?" By the way, why these people listen to / believe "the language of human rights" from a pedop rapist? And most of all, why they should care about the people of Iran?
Taken together, and alongside the growing speculation that the United States may be preparing for a ground invasion of Iran, these developments point, in my view, to a broader Israeli expansionist project in the Middle East.
As the war on Iran resumed, rapidly escalating into a full-scale war - with critical infrastructure coming under attack and growing speculation about Israel joining the war - we have, almost in parallel, been seeing more reports of Israeli settlers attacking Palestinians
and their homes in the occupied West Bank, as though they had been given a green light.
At the same time, calls from Israel's far right to annex the occupied West Bank have grown noticeably louder in recent days.
Signs of a Major Escalation in the U.S.-#Iran War
🔹Multiple developments over the past several hours suggest that the U.S. war on #Iran may be approaching a significant escalation.
🔹Last night’s U.S. strike on the Shalamcheh border crossing between Iran and Iraq has been interpreted as a possible preparatory move for the deployment of special operations or ground forces. Alternatively, the strike may have been intended to facilitate the advance of armed insurgent groups.
🔹In the same context, the drone strike on the Al-Abdali border crossing between Iraq and Kuwait was likely carried out by Iran or its Iraqi allies in an effort to disrupt the U.S. logistical corridor linking the two countries.
🔹Meanwhile, reports indicate that shelters have been opened at multiple locations across Israel. Similar measures preceded earlier escalations, including the 12-Day War and the 40-Day War, suggesting that Israeli authorities are preparing for possible Iranian missile attacks.
🔹France and the United Kingdom have also reportedly evacuated their embassies in Iran as of today.
🔹Trump, for his part, has declared that he holds Iran responsible for Houthi attacks on shipping in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. This statement could provide a pretext for intensifying U.S. strikes against Iran in response to future Houthi operations.
🔹The warning should be viewed alongside Trump’s earlier statement on Wednesday that any future Iranian attack on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz would be met with a U.S. strike on an Iranian bridge or power plant. He has also indicated that a U.S. attack on Iran’s underground nuclear facilities at “Pickaxe Mountain” is inevitable.
🔹At the same time, the United States appears to be reducing its military presence at bases closer to Iran, including in Qatar. Open-source reporting also points to a large-scale transfer of military equipment from the United States and Europe to Israel, along with increased activity by reconnaissance, command-and-control, and electronic warfare aircraft across the region. The United States has also deployed B-1 strategic bombers to the theater.
🔹Iran has warned that any attack on its infrastructure or nuclear facilities will be met with comparable strikes against regional targets. Several Iranian analysts also argue that, should the United States substantially intensify its campaign, Iran would likely strike strategic targets inside Israel regardless of whether Israel is directly involved in the operation.
🔹Overall, these developments suggest that the conflict may be entering a more dangerous phase, potentially comparable to the peak of the 40-Day War.
I think the objective of Israel-US war against Iran is to continue the war to a full scale to the point that the whole country falls apart, experience full collapse and make it impossible for the people to live in it.
@AlirezaNader Funny is that he is not referring to to the QR-code or safe channels he had claimed he had set up to contact him. So, according to him, elements from Sepah and Basij decided to contact him through social media which is the unsafest!
As I predicted prior to the start of the renewed U.S./Iran War, the United States is systemically targeting civilian infrastructure inside of Iran with the intent of causing a humanitarian crisis. This is seen below with EVIDENCE of the United States striking water desalination inside of Iran.
In just the past week, we have seen wheat storage facilities wiped out, multiple water storage and infrastructure facilities wiped out, water desalination (as seen here) wiped out, but also roads, bridges, and rail lines wiped out.
While many are pointing to, in particular, the roads/bridges/rail being connected to a potential ground operation against Iran… I don’t see that that.
A ground operation is a FANTASTIC way for President Trump to become Herbert Hoover. I don’t believe ANY military expert has seriously put forth that the United States could secure our core strategic outcomes in the Iran War without extremely high casualties. That is an amazing way for Trump to turn an embarrassing defeat into becoming the worst President in U.S. history, and not just in the eyes of Democrats.
No, I believe that we are waging an all-out, and morally reprehensible economic warfare campaign predicated on the following pillars:
1) A renewed blockade meant to cause: hyperinflation, the collapse of the Rial to the USD, but also to cut off imports of wheat, medical supplies, cooking oil, and proteins.
2) Maximum-Pressure sanctions that follow a “Cuba-like” model wherein “everything” is de facto government-controlled. (See: GAESA/Cuba).
3) The direct targeting of roads, bridges, and rail lines meant to cut off imports via seaports (see: Bandar Abbas) and via land corridors to neighboring countries (see: Belt and Road rail line struck connecting Iran to China and Russia).
4) The direct targeting of economic and civilian infrastructure to bring about job less, desperation, and group gatherings. This will come from the targeting of: power plants, water infrastructure/storage/desalination, petrochemical facilities, steel and manufacturing plants, and pharmaceutical facilities.
5) A continuation of Operation Freedom 2.0 that attempts to move vessels along the Omani coastline to extend the economic runway in which furthers the timeline for the United States to wage said economic warfare.
I do not believe President Trump is willing to see a mass casualty event take place with American boots on the ground. He would inevitably then be forced into yet another forever war in the Middle East… in July… against a country of 95M people… in an extraordinarily challenging terrain… with insufficient troops in theater…
No, I believe that we are continuing forward with an extreme economic warfare campaign predicated on delving the entire country of Iran into anarchy.
Trump is a fool for restarting this war.
Washington has failed to understand both the rally around the flag effects throughout this war, as well as showing a fundamentally broken knowledge of economic warfare.
When your strategy is predicated on the civilians rising up, making them suffer immensely, killing their children, and committing acts of terror does not endear the population to your cause.
It turns them against you.
Huge response to our documentary on Minab school strike tonight. Raised in Congress and the White House already. Superbly directed by the brilliant @FloraFmb
