@AskCiti @AskCiti I've received multiple emails regarding case R-121877260626, each with a password-protected PDF, but no password was ever provided.
The email instructs me to call 1-800-374-9700. They can't access the case and tells me to visit a branch. The branch then tells me to call.

@AskCiti @AskCiti As you suggested in private message, I mailed all the documents and request through USPS and it was delivered at 8:43AM PT Today. Could you please provide me case number or some way to track the status of the request?

@AskCiti @Citi @AskCiti Apparently this is not a new issue and not just my problem with Citi. Many customers are facing similar issues accessing their own records from closed Citi accounts with in last 7 years. Found multiple Reddit threads mentioning the same issue.

@AskCiti @Citi @AskCiti It’s unacceptable how hard Citi makes it to access my own financial records of closed Account. I have all details, yet after 3 days Citi says I must mail a notarized request. Other banks helped in minutes over the call. Citi is still banking in the 1980s.

@Citi @AskCiti Worst banking experience. I’m trying to access my own records from a Citi account. I have account details, old statements, and ID info. Other banks helped in minutes. Citi took 3 days just to say: mail a signed notarized request. Unacceptable.

@Citi Why is it so hard to get help ? I called multiple helpline numbers, went to a branch and provided all the details, answered security questions. But they can't help. Online help is asking me to reach to a branch, branch is asking me to call the helpline number.

@dermayank @itsdamslife If everyone spent time like you then Netflix and like wise companies will be bankrupt in a few months and all you learned would not be that useful... Be grateful to people who are just users.
