Broke team problems 💀

[Jay the One & Only @Js4424]

FR all this nonstop Shohei Ohtani Dodgers stuff just makes me sick. I hope this years Angels team has some attitude, heart and some fn DAWG in em! Become a team that BUILDS CULTURE instead of BUYING STARS. #GoHalos

What a joke

[Dish @D1SCHER]

The annual Arte Moreno failure checklist:

- signed Albert Pujols, Josh Hamilton, and Anthony Rendon to a combined 22 years / $624M in contracts

- has failed to invest in the minor league system

- never made the playoffs with Trout and Ohtani both on roster

- active 9 year playoff drought (longest in the sport)

- reclaimed ownership of team after putting it up for sale last season

- failed to trade Ohtani in previous trade deadlines when we were uncompetitive

- went all in at trade deadline this year only to DFA / waive almost every player acquired to get under luxury tax

- lost Shohei Ohtani to the cross town rival

A failure of an owner and a failure of an organization. Arte Moreno’s tenure as angels owner will be remembered as one that wasted two generational superstars
