Our kindergarteners are diving into math in the most delicious way! Using everyday snacks, Mrs. Weiser's class learned all about 3D shapes-cubes, spheres, cylinders, and more! Here's to hands-on, memorable learning moments! #PTBM#monarchmomentsmatter
Navin students had a special welcoming crew last week when they were visited by seniors from the Marysville Monarchs football team. Many of these Monarchs are also former Navin students. We'll be rooting them on in the playoffs! #PTBM
Some of Navin's 2nd grade scholars got to work on beautifying our front garden with Dutch Brothers nursery. They planted 100 daffodil bulbs that we can't wait to see bloom next spring. We're grateful for community partners like Dutch Brothers for bringing this learning to Navin!
Today we're shouting out our cafeteria staff at Navin Elementary! They prepare the food our young learners need to grow healthy bodies and minds. Thanks for feeding our Monarchs!
Today may have been a day off for students, but it was a day of learning for Navin's hard-working staff. We spent the day talking about the progression of writing and assessment practices. We're so proud of how Navin learns together, kids and adults. #monarchmomentsmatter#PTBM
When Mrs. Lee brings out the sky-writing laser rings for phonics work, you know it's going to be a great day in 2nd grade. We are so proud of how hard our staff and students are working with our new literacy curriculum pieces. #MonarchMomentsMatter#PTBM
We're celebrating National Arts in Education week at Navin. Arts play a crucial role in fostering creativity, supporting the whole-child, and benefit all academic areas. We are grateful to our unified arts team for their innovative approach to supporting all learners.
You can't turn down an invitation to Drum Fit Friday and you can't turn down the fun with these preschoolers! We love this sensory experience for our youngest Monarchs! #monarchmomentsmatter
Pardon our mess... Mrs. Falzarano's 4th grade is exploring math tools. Manipulatives are an important part of the learning process for our mathematicians. Students generated standard operating procedures for using these tools and made career connections with an eye on the future.
