While I agree, there was no official announcement therefore BHVR isn't at fault here nor did they falsely advertise anything -

The "wasn't true" part is 100% incorrect because datamining is the only other OFFICIAL info source other than BHVR themselves. The MAIN downside of datamining being that stuff in the files isn't always guaranteed to RELEASE. Sometimes there are leftovers or scraps. It wasn't just hearsay, it was fully verifiable in the game files.

So trying to frame this as "BHVR is getting hate because someone lied" is very untrue and painting a false picture. People have every right to be mad that voice lines were OFFICIALLY (yes, OFFICIALLY) in the works for Hinako and were far enough in production to have been implemented and subtitled in the files but ultimately scrapped. It shows both Konami and BHVR were making something the community has asked numerous times for happen finally, then just decided to cut it short.
