I hate to rain on the hate parade, but the International Space Station has already been doing this. The ISS has handled its own solar power and thermal cooling for almost 30 years now, it's been doing it before cell phones had internet.
Everything being said is completely possible, how is someone that has been "studying spacecraft" (Astronautical Engineering?) doesn't know this is beyond me. I only took 2 Aerospace Engineering classes towards my degree, this is beginner stuff.
The BIG question is how effective it will be. Just because things can work, doesn't mean it will work well. Ex. how long it took us to get auto parking for cars despite having the technology for decades prior.
From what I gathered, my guess is you feel like that because you feel unworthy, in a sense, when you get admiration, it doesn't feel earned, it feels transactional.
In other words, you feel like you must please others in order to be liked. A transaction.
This creates a fear of failure, there is only two sides, loved and hated. Give, give, give to be loved, but to stop, you get the other side, hatred. You fear hate. It's a gnawing fear, a looming shadow, you want to burst to scare it away, but you don't know the solution for it to be gone.
I am just... completely talking out of my ass.
I do find deep dives entertaining, if you want to bounce thoughts I am always game, you know how to poke me.
