अमेरिका के कैलिफोर्निया राज्य का लॉस एंजिलिस शहर जल रहा है. 4 दिन पहले यहां के एक जंगल में आग लगी थी, जो फैलती जा रही है. अभी लॉस एंजिलिस के 6 जंगल धधक रहे हैं. आग का दायरा हर पल बढ़ता जा रहा है.

शुक्रवार शाम तक आधा शहर आग की चपेट में आ चुका था. आग में जलकर अब तक 10 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. लॉस एंजिलिस के करीब 40 हजार एकड़ में आग फैली हुई है. अब तक 29 हजार एकड़ का इलाका पूरी तरह जल चुका है.

यह कैलिफोर्निया में अब तक की सबसे बड़ी आग बताई जा रही है. एक अनुमान के मुताबिक, जंगल की आग से अब तक 11, 610 अरब रुपयों का नुकसान हो चुका है. ये आंकड़ा यूरोप के देश यूक्रेन की GDP के बराबर है. हालांकि, अमेरिकी सरकार ने अभी तक आग से हुए आर्थिक नुकसान का ऑफिशियल डेटा जारी नहीं किया है
