🚨 Nikhil Kamath suggests Chief Ministers should run states like CEOs,
Compete for investment,
He points to China, where local governments chase business like companies.

Why would you use commercial sats for launching military attacks? If it's allowed bad states and terrorists can use the network for any civilian harm. Who is stopping Pak and Bangladesh who have commercial licence to use Starlink to launch drone attacks on India?
So it turns out that Ukraine's issues with Starlink were caused by Ukraine.
Starlink terminals disconnected at speeds above 160 KPH, as determined by the Starlink terminals internal GPS.
To get around this, Ukraine hacked the Starlink terminals to think they were stationary regardless of speed.
SpaceX figured this out, and updated the system software to detect excessive speed by seeing how rapidly the terminal switched from on satellite to another. This broke Ukraine's hack, and Starlink would no longer work at high speeds.
Ukraine was using Starlink in a way that violated the terms of service.
Starlink figured it out and stopped it.
@massion_05 Ughh.

No amount of data harvesting software can predict LLM agents because markers are not clear. You don't need defensive AI, you need accountability for current frauds.
Sometimes friction is intentionally engineered protection. Not every extra step is an inconvenience. When you remove friction without accounting for human error, data storage risks, or rogue actors, you don't just speed up the process, you break the societal safety net.
Documented cybercrimes -
Phishing & Social Engineering: Posing as trusted institutions (banks, tax authorities, employers) via email, SMS, or phone calls to dupe victims into handing over login credentials or PINs.
Point-of-Sale (POS) & ATM Skimming: Installing malicious code on checkout hardware or online payment gateways to capture payment card details during transactions.
Documented preventions:
Mandate end-to-end data encryption at rest and in transit, conduct routine penetration testing, enforce strict principle of least privilege (PoLP) access controls, and maintain active multi-factor authentication (MFA) across all endpoints.
Do not share financial info with bots.
This works well. Screenshot of credit card is the easiest way, unless you want to fill out the secure vault data.
Seems a bit silly to hand your credit card to people you don’t know at a restaurant, but not to Grok Bot.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman: "I don't even know a dramatic enough word to use… models can find bugs that are outside of the normal threat model of what we think a hacker can do… hardware-level, insane stuff… I no longer think we're gonna be able to just patch all the bugs."
@LuizaJarovsky For people to reclaim 5 mins of their time, they need to surrender to a world designed by people so incompetent that their agents constantly break out and do things they are not instructed to do. Amazing! 😂
"we tried to warn the world".
What a way to say:
"we gate kept our models so that only the to 100 companies who could afford to pay us millions of dollars had access to them"
"we created the most unrealistic guardrails for every small business, code maintainer, and hobbyist around so you couldn't actually check your shit for vulnerabilties"
"we created a FAKE CVP that takes your identity, but doesn't actually given any usability to solve for cyber issues"
"AI will kill 10% of the population if you dont let us be the only ones to tell you whats good and bad in AI"
Is everyone in this company living inside of a bubble, inside of a bubble, where they think they are humanities saviors?
"Dont worry guys, we're going to save you if you just pay us millions a month for access to our models, but only if you're a top F100 company, and than you little peons have to pay millions to them to get to the millions from us."
Oh yeah....you tried to warn us.
Dear X, I am trying to press on those tiny almost invisible 3 dots to get the div to do something with the post, not invoking Grok for everything! Pls atleast give an option to hide Ask Grok button since usage management is destroyed post unification. 🤷🏻♀️
Extreme, isolated environments are ruthless amplifiers of human character. There is zero margin for error, bloat, lies, greed or posturing.
In a high-stakes, closed ecosystem like a space habitat, character flaws aren't just personality quirks; they are fatal system level failures. The system self destructs.
Cosmic laws are really very simple if you get the basic science right.
War economy can never evolve beyond wars and all wars end with bloodshed. Trying to spread wars in space is ending any chance of co-operative space exploration in future. The lack of trust will spread like a disease with no cure. Space never does evil.
BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force is accelerating preparations for potential warfare around the Moon, seeking military capabilities that could be operational by 2029.
According to Breaking Defense, Maj. Gen. Stephen Purdy says the Pentagon is preparing two industry requests for information to acquire:
1. Spacecraft and sensors capable of monitoring activity between Earth and the Moon.
2. Navigation and timing systems to support operations far beyond traditional Earth orbit.
3. AI software allowing spacecraft to navigate, detect failures and operate autonomously without constant instructions from Earth.
The Space Force wants existing or near-ready commercial technology rather than years of additional research and development.
Purdy cited China's growing presence in cislunar space as a key driver of the urgency.
The Pentagon is also coordinating with NASA on infrastructure that could support both civilian lunar exploration and military operations.
Initial capabilities are targeted for deployment by September 2029. No contracts or operational weapons deployments have been announced.
