Having played UFC 6 beta already, I think a lot of people are more interested in the long-term gameplay roadmap than launch features:

1. Are there plans to introduce entirely new gameplay mechanics during UFC 6's lifecycle, similar to how calf kicks were introduced in UFC 4?

2. Could new ground and pound techniques such as 12-6 elbows, hammerfists, or alternative strike timings be added later in UFC 6's lifecycle?

3. One of the most requested features is the return of voice chat. Is that something the team would consider bringing back during UFC 6's lifecycle?

4. Another highly requested feature is a replay/theater mode. Is that something that could realistically be added post-launch?

5. What gameplay feature would the developers personally most like to add after launch if resources and time weren't a factor?

I’m not convinced rollback netcode would work well in UFC. One of the biggest issues could be strikes appearing to speed up or correct themselves, making reactions and reads harder.

The current matchmaking already tries to find the lowest-ping opponent available, and with cross-play coming to UFC 6 that should help improve matchmaking even further.

That said, I’d absolutely love to test rollback netcode in UFC 6 just to see how it feels in practice. Maybe it works better than I expect. My concern is that with all the movement, grappling, clinch exchanges and animations in MMA, it could end up creating more problems than it solves.
