Today, we led a delegation to the @CEO_Goa along with MLA @carlosgoa25, OBC Chairman Shri Nitin Chopdekar @MaheshNDR @SavioCouti23521 & party representatives, to strongly object to the deeply flawed SIR process.

About 1.08 lakh voters have already been deleted from the draft roll without issuing any show-cause notice — in clear violation of the Supreme Court’s directions.

With nearly 1.82 lakh more voters now at risk, this amounts to a direct attack on the democratic rights of Goans.

We slammed the secrecy, haste, and lack of transparency, and demanded full transparency, voter awareness camps, and an extension of the rushed timeline.

Congress will not tolerate voter suppression or any attempt to rig the electoral process. We will fight to protect every citizen’s right to vote.

The @RailMinIndia has admitted that the Hosapete–Vasco doubling project is meant for coal transportation. This exposes the sheer hypocrisy of the @BJP4India & @BJP4Goa governments who kept misleading Goans by falsely projecting it was “not a Coal transportation project”.

The reality is clear – the double engine BJP government always wanted to convert Goa into a coal hub to serve the business interests of their crony friends, without caring for the health of Goans, our fragile environment, or the identity of our state.

@INCGoa strongly opposes this destructive project. We will not allow BJP to mortgage Goa’s future for the profit of a few. Our fight is to protect the health of Goans, preserve our environment, and safeguard the legacy of our land for future generations.
