As Australia prepares to welcome Israeli President Isaac Herzog, our message is now impossible to miss.
From Canberra to Sydney and Melbourne, billboards are live, calling out what our government refuses to confront: welcoming Herzog is not diplomacy, it is endorsement.
Herzog is not a neutral figure. He has justified collective punishment, denied mass starvation in Gaza, and publicly supported the military violence that has devastated Palestinian life. These facts are on the record. Australia cannot pretend otherwise.
Thanks to the determination and generosity of our supporters, this message is now in public space, where political decisions are felt and contested. This is what it looks like to refuse silence and push back against normalisation.
And we are not done. APAN will continue to challenge this visit, demand accountability, and stand for Palestinian rights, publicly, persistently, and without compromise.
Seen a billboard in Sydney or Melbourne? Take a photo, tag us, and share widely.
Keep speaking. Keep pushing. Keep the pressure on.
This list is absolutely MASSIVE.
It’s the list of Palestinian children murdered by Israel.
From newborns to 8-year-olds.
What kind of monstrous regime kills 20,000+ children in just 2 years and still calls it “self-defense”?
Israel. That’s who.
Breaking: Hebrew media: The Higher Planning Council approved 126 settlement units in the Sanur outpost in the northern West Bank, a move Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich said aims to “erase the shame of withdrawal.”
looks like Mossad is planning another false flag.
Hamas has NEVER attacked anyone in Europe, NEVER expressed a desire to do so, and in fact has always made it clear that they are fighting the Jewish supremacist colonizers and oppressors on their OWN SOIL in their own homeland of Palestine.
watch out Europe. Israel is coming for you again for yet another false flag on your soil to whip up anti-Arab, anti-Muslim sentiments. here's a partial list to jog your memory [not including the ones we know they did but can't yet prove it].
- The Lillehammer Affair (1973)
- Embassy Bombing (1994, London)
- Targeted Assassinations Using Forged Passports (all over the world)
- The Lavon Affair (Egypt, 1954)
🚩My new report is out.
With their actions and omissions, third states have enabled the oppression of the Palestinian people and their genocide.
Those states have an obligation to stop their complicity and deliver justice.
And We The People, have to make it happen.
Dr. Shir Hever is the grandson of Israel Magali, a war criminal involved in the Lydda massacre, one of the horrific events of the 1948 Nakba.
He also serves as the coordinator for the Palestinian BDS movement’s military embargo campaign.
Watch his powerful speech…
@SuppressedNws1 🚨 The investigation was carried out by independent journalists at +972. Highly recommend following them @972mag - they do important work. Here is their report: https://t.co/37QFURtcfT
⚡️🇵🇸🇮🇱JUST IN:
An investigation found that the Israeli army used fake 3D animations taken from video games, online assets, content creators, and a Scottish museum to claim KHamas was hiding under Gaza’s hospitals.
From Times Square to MILAN 🇮🇹, football fans have had ENOUGH! ‼️😡 Stop allowing football to sports-wash genocide. The world sees through it and we’re demanding a full Israeli boycott across football. The Federations can’t hide anymore. Suspend Israel.
#GameOverIsrael@UEFA
@FranceskAlbs Since member states do NOTHING to uphold the supposed ceasefire israel has with Lebanon & since israel has NEVER upheld any ceasefire agreement, treaty or accord & NO member state has ever sanctioned or condemned israel, I'm not optimistic.
BREAKING! “Ceasefire”, in Israel’s dictionary: you cease, I fire.
Just hours after the deal - as in January - Israel shoots at Palestinians waiting to return home.
Before any next step, member states must ensure that Israel honours the ceasefire.
The main boat in the #GlobalSumudFlotilla has just been attacked by a drone.
The fire has been put out and initial reports suggest everyone is safe.
This just proves that the Israeli authorities fear the global uprising against genocide.
We will sail. Palestine will be free.
A 1-state or 2-states?
I have been asked about my opinion regarding a one-state solution in Palestine. I would offer the following answer:
“I, personally, don’t subscribe to either a 2-state or 1-state solution. I believe it’s wrong to talk about any solution before the dismantlement of Zionism. When Zionism is no more, then one can talk about the shape of whatever entity might take place. We Muslims have no problem whatsoever in coexisting with adherents of other faiths, especially Jews and Christians who are the people of the book. Yet, we definitely have a problem with the supremacist and racist ideology of Zionism, which manifests itself in Palestine in the form of a colonial settlement occupation.
“Any proposal of a solution that does not consider Zionism to be a problem, even a threat to humanity, is meaningless.
“Perhaps we can see in the South African experience a model for resolving the conflict in Palestine due to the similarities between Zionism and Apartheid. The ANC under Mandela refused to talk about any solution unless, and until, it was agreed that Apartheid was the problem and had to end.
“Unlike South Africa, Palestine is a very small country with very limited resources. Yet, Palestine was never a state on its own anytime in history. It’s very likely that in a post-Zionism era we would be talking about a much bigger entity, something I once called the United States of the Middle East and North Africa (USMENA). But of course, it all depends on how the conflict eventually is resolved.
“In view of the failure of all previous peace initiatives, it seems we are heading toward a very bloody conclusion. Previous failures are due to the fact that Zionism, a colonial racist supremacist settlement project, was going to be preserved. It would have to be renounced, both as an idea and as a regime, prior to any discussion of the political status of the region and its peoples.
“Previously, as I discuss in my book Hamas Unwritten Chapters, I thought a 2-state situation might be possible as a provisional status should the Israelis have accepted Hamas offer of a long-term truce, or Hudna. That offer was first officially made in 1994. However, the Israelis never accepted that offer and seem unlikely to do so with the rise of religious zionism.
Yet, if some Israeli authority does accept the offer in the future, then a 2-state situation might be possible for the duration of the Hudna. In theory, if the hudna is successful, a completely different scenario might become possible, one in which the two sides decide to work for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Could this result in what some people have been referring to as a 1-state solution? Perhaps!”
