The Press Attack Tracker has been expanded to cover attacks against journalists across Africa. This is a valuable tool in the push for a #FreePress on the continent. Kindly interact and report attacks using the PAT.

To take the gown to town, I am open to opportunities where I can share the findings of my research on a topic dear to my heart. I believe the results will be valuable to stakeholders in the media, devpt, & gender-focused sectors. So, if you have any pointers, kindly reach out.
I defended my project a month ago, marking the successful culmination of my Master's Degree programme in the Department of Communication and Language Arts, University of Ibadan.
I also acknowledge and deeply appreciate the support, encouragement, and guidance of family and friends along the way, which were immensely valuable. Thank you!
Glad to have told this very important story. Students deserve to learn in a conducive and safe environment.
Thank you @DevReporting@EVA_Nigeria, and @MalalaFund for the support.
Story by @Nchetachi1 under our partnership with @EVA_Nigeria@MalalaFund shows that @oyostategovt approved billions for school renovations, yet many students still learn in unsafe conditions. Parents now fund basics meant to be public responsibility.

Sights from my many late-night crawls of my city.
I particularly like Frames 1&2. @thepremiumtrust Bank is often very extra (in a good way) with its Christmas decorations. You'd most likely see its offices decorated by the last week in November.
Tooting my own horn
I successfully organised my first community and stakeholder engagement programme as @womentooafricaa's Digital Rights Ambassador on the need to safeguard Nigeria's civic space and digital rights, with particular reference to the proposed NGO Bill.
I sincerely appreciate @CIVICUSalliance for the support, fellow ambassadors for their invaluable help, and the organisations that partnered with me on this project: @ecoscigen, Music Monday and @recycledge. Thanks a lot.
On Saturday, I attended the inaugural Ibadan Book and Arts Festival @Ibadanfestival, a celebration of the city's rich literary heritage and its influence on Nigeria's literary and cultural landscape.
It was also another good opportunity to learn (again) of the history of Ibadan, its evolution in the face of digitisation and globalisation, and how the city has served (and keeps serving) as the muse for many great literary/creative works in and outside the country.
