Former five-star wide out Quincy Porter has committed to Notre Dame after leaving Ohio State. Irish have their boundary receiver from the portal and he’s got four years of eligibility remaining.
College football needs to decide whether it wants to be the NFL or WWE. Because right now it's out here scripting WrestleMania finishes and selling them as competitive integrity. GTFOH. #GoIrish ☘️
@CJRealHoops1 It’s not the disrespect, it’s the dishonesty. And it’s ESPN exploiting ND’s brand for ratings, clicks, and profit. ND and the kids don’t owe ESPN or the CFP committee jack s#it. Neither do the other 9 teams that have opted out of bowls.
@CFBTalkDaily ND wasn’t looking for the ACC’s endorsement. They expected them to live up to their legal obligation to not publicly attack ND, which is exactly what they did for 3 weeks. It’ll cost them. The contractual breach probably gives ND a less expensive path out.
@PittFanaticsFB@ACCFootball This is the beginning of the end for the ACC, bud. If you don’t see that, you’re blind. Clemson, FSU, and Miami want out. Now ND’s going to leave. Good luck!
I filed a column about this but I believe they’re holding until the morning.
Not a conspiracy. Just a bad idea. Which is why I don’t begrudge Notre Dame for saying “We’re not going to be your bowl ratings draw when you just made us your plot twist for your dumb TV show.”
Who’s to blame for Notre Dame’s shocking snub? ESPN, the system, the ACC and yes, the Irish themselves. Thoughts on an infamous day for Notre Dame football that will leave a scar. https://t.co/5JiWrh8yOe
