What a sad day!
In the afternoon, we joined the community of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Banda-Nakawa West for the requiem mass of Rev Fr John Bosco Nambasi who died in an accident yesterday.
Afterwards, we went to St. Mbaaga Catholic Church in Kiwatule-Nakawa West to bid farewell to Rev. Fr. Charles Lwanga Ssewava who passed on after a long illness.
Later in the evening, we attended a vigil of the late Judith Mugalu in Kondogolo zone, Kyanja Parish - Nakawa West who succumbed to an accident yesterday. At just 30 years, she has left behind a husband and two young children.
So much tragedy! May God comfort the bereaved families, and may the souls of the departed rest in peace.
If every Ugandan who has watched gronk Muhoozi’s antics in silence suddenly spoke at once, would he really try to jail the entire country? Cells and soldiers exist, yes but they are finite. What he has relied on is not overwhelming force so much as the habit of silence. He has learned that he can wake up, still inebriated and fogged from the night before, and pluck whoever happens to annoy him that morning because most people look away.
The more painful part is not his behaviour. It is the people who could make noise and choose not to. Those with titles, platforms, and reputations treat him as an unavoidable weather system rather than an imbecile who can be confronted. They offer the same thin defence that they have jobs, families, mortgages.
Europe did not replace capricious individuals with working institutions because professors, judges, officers, writers, musicians, teachers, lawyers and journalists decided their salaries were more important than the country. They took part.
Here, too many of the voices that should matter first calculate the cost of speaking and then stay seated and that is how a noose tightens not only because one nincompoop pulls it, but because everyone else keeps their hands in their pockets as spectators!
Young activist Aloikin Opoloje has been abducted from Namungoona Police Station and taken away in a drone van bearing registration number UA875AC.
The abduction comes shortly after Opoloje released a video declaring that she was not afraid of Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The continued reports of abductions of Ugandans, on Muhoozi's orders, have become a deeply troubling and increasingly normalized vice in the country.
We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Aloikin Opoloje. No Ugandan should be abducted, detained, or silenced for exercising their freedom of expression.

Lest the world forget forget, dictator Museveni's deranged son, Muhoozi, had comrade Eddie Mutwe abducted in April last year. Muhoozi later posted a photo of Eddie Mutwe, shirtless and appearing to bleed, boasting that he was teaching him Runyankore and using him as a punching bag. He added that I was next on his list.
Once the coward Muhoozi felt he had tortured Eddie enough, he sent him to jail where he remains to this day; denied bail everytime he has sought it. And yet Muhoozi still isn't satisfied. He is now threatening to hang Eddie Mutwe, and other NUP prisoners, "soon"! The good news is that we worship a Living God, and are taking whatever action we can to subdue this monster. Uganda will survive Museveni and his witless son, the same way it has survived every other tyrant before them!
Good morning beautiful people.
Those who decieved Museveni and his son that he can silence this generation are their worst Enemies.
NO GIVING UP.
Thank you @NUP_Ug
Just learnt of the abduction of this young female activist, Praise Aloikin Opoloje, this evening! She is a vocal critic of the NRM regime, with her most recent video focusing on Mr. Museveni's infantile son & cowardly army commander, Muhoozi, who has proven unable to act his age or rank. We call for Aloikin's unconditional release and an end to this State criminality! #BringBackOurPeople!
