Today, the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife signed a landmark partnership with @Google.
Great to be joined by Google Africa Managing Director Alex Okosi, our PS for @WildlifeKe_ @PSMuseiya and our visionary Kenya Tourism Rebranding Task Force.

Crucially, this partnership is an investment in the next generation. Through this collaboration, Kenya is transitioning into an AI-first, digitally advanced tourism destination. By equipping young Kenyans with digital economy skills, we are ensuring they just watch the tourism sector from the sidelines, but build, lead, and profit from it as curators of our nation’s stories.

To the Google Africa team, and our dedicated Ministry Taskforce, thank you for this shared vision. The signing is done and the real work now begins.

Former President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta a man who carried Kenya’s hopes and burdens with a steady heart has today revealed something deeply human and painfully heavy. During the solemn memorial of his dear friend Frank Ireri, the Fourth President opened up about his battle with cancer, a fight he has been silently waging for a while.

It was not a political speech. It was not a show of strength. It was a moment of truth raw, moving, and deeply emotional. The hall fell silent, eyes turned to him, and in that silence, Kenya saw not the powerful Head of State we once knew, but a father, a husband, and a friend walking through the valley of pain with courage and grace.

Uhuru’s voice trembled not from fear, but from the weight of honesty. It takes immense bravery for a man who led millions to stand before the world and admit that even he bleeds, even he hurts, even he fights unseen battles.

As Kenyans, we pause. We pray. We reflect.
Politics fades, divisions blur, and all that remains is humanity.

May God’s healing hand rest upon the 4th.
May his strength return like the sunrise after a long night.
And may this moment remind us that even our leaders our heroes are made of flesh and faith.
