The American gambling industry is trying to shut down prediction markets. And the further it goes the harder they push.
U.S. casino and sportsbook associations have sent a letter to the Senate demanding that the CLARITY Act include an explicit ban on sports and casino‑like prediction markets.
In their view, platforms like Polymarket are basically offering sports bets disguised as financial contracts. They bypass state licensing, player‑protection rules, and the entire traditional gambling framework.
The letter even claims that prediction markets have become the largest expansion of gambling in U.S. history without voter approval or legislative sign‑off.
What do you think about all this where does this fight actually lead?
Polymarket is pushing back against the system again.
The platform, together with other industry players, joined the Fair Markets Alliance and filed a lawsuit against the state of Kentucky.
The reason? A new 14.25% tax on prediction‑market operator fees.
The plaintiffs call it discriminatory and in violation of federal standards.
Their main argument: prediction markets are taxed higher than horse‑racing bets and that’s a distortion that hurts the industry and regulated platforms.
The industry is growing and it looks like the fight is only just beginning.
LFG!! Second combo. Second attempt. And this time it hit
After my first Polymarket combo, which beautifully missed, I decided to run it back and build a new one again on the World Cup.
The combo was simple:
🔹 France win
🔹 Argentina win
And here’s the best part: turned 2.5$ into 6.81$ Small bag, but damn… feels good
Watching Senegal, I really thought France was about to ruin everything, but nope the combo landed, everything went green
Made my first-ever trade on @Polymarket and went straight for a combo.
Today I placed my first bet on Polymarket ever and of course I couldn’t resist stacking multiple picks.
For the World Cup 2026 Japan match, I went with:
🔹 Over 1.5 goals
🔹 Japan to win
If this hits, I’m taking it as a sign from the universe that I’m on the right path.
Crypto, sports, and a bit of luck - perfect mix.

Crazy what happens when you trade the news instead of your emotions.
While everyone was arguing about geopolitics, he just bet on the USA Iran agreement and took his profit
Made over $51,800 on Polymarket today
Grateful to Polymarket because it changed my life over the last 6 months
if you’re willing to keep looking for edge and getting better this place will reward you
Polymarket supercycle.
Second combo. Second attempt. Let’s run it back.
After my first-ever combo on Polymarket, I’m doubling down with a new one this time on the World Cup again.
Went for a fresh combo:
🔹 France win
🔹 Argentina win
And man… watching Senegal right now is wild.
Are they actually this good or is France just playing that bad?
