Malaysia wants to become a regional hub for AI & data centres. A data centre can use up to 25.5 million tonnes of water annually. This amount can support 300,000 people every single day.
Nothing can replace our freshwater ecosystems once they are destroyed & drained.
In some places in the world, communities are already organising guides & toolkits to resist the development of data centres.
We should also have one.

In Japanese anime, Kuchipaku (口パク) is a technique using mouth flaps to lip sync with the dialogue in a cut.
A typical Kuchipaku has 3 mouth flap variations: closed, partially open, and open.
In episode 5 of Frieren season 2, the cut layout has Frieren is divided into 2 layers—Layer A is her body, and Layer B has the mouth flaps!

Please support them, they will need it in the coming weeks/months! ⤵️
To my fellow 3D artists and animators who use Blender for your projects, Blender just pulled a big W by taking a financial risk. So, if possible, give them what you’re willing donate so that they can continue operations without having to rely on companies who prioritize AI.
