Over the past few years, I’ve visited dozens of classrooms and given over 9,000 new, diverse books to kids of all backgrounds.

The band pays tribute to the classic songs that shaped them with killer covers and fresh energy. Jeff Keith’s vocals still soar, and the guitars are as crunchy and melodic as ever.
Tesla has always been the blue-collar rockers who stayed true to their roots — formed in the 80s in Sacramento, they gave us hits like “Modern Day Cowboy,” “Love Song,” and “Signs” while carving out their own lane between hair metal and bluesy hard rock. No gimmicks, just great songs.
This new record feels like a love letter to rock ‘n’ roll. Highly recommended!

"Alright Todd Baby!" The first ever NFL touchdown for #Raiders TE Todd Christensen came in Week 6 1980 against the San Diego #Chargers. Christensen came away with a fumbled kickoff return by Chargers returner Chuck Muncie giving the Raiders back the lead. Then Christensen even gave his best James Brown style touchdown celebration afterwards. Legendary Owner Al Davis with the raised fist pump showing his approval. The @Raiders would go on to win the game 38-24 as part of the Cinderella season for them. Christensen later became an elite tight end for the Raiders who have a history of legendary players at that position, but his life was cut tragically short after his retirement. RIP Todd Christensen!
