@itssalvadiaz Yes! The iodine was added to salt beginning in Michigan in 1924 and spread nationwide. Iodine is prevalent in seafood/seaweed, so populations far from the ocean can have problems. I had a large goiter which disappeared soon after switching to iodized salt.

Who’s angry? I’m hoping for more equality and human rights for women, like true protections in statute regarding abuse (financial. Psychological, sexual and physical), equal pay, better maternity leave policies, better policies on work-life balance, etc. We have made progress but we still have a long way to go, especially as certain groups are fighting against the progress we’ve made over the past 50 years.

@jayplemons Florida had an intangibles tax that was eliminated in 2006. Look at Florida now. Many immigrants come to this country for the secure property rights. This will turn them against the ruling regimes. Not a bad thing, ironically.
