On Slop

The grand @slopdotclub experiment is about creating a forum where people, real people, express and interact with each other in prompts.

Despite the upfront effort of prompting, doing so results in a more dense language format capable of expressing the unspoken (a picture worth a 1000 words and all). Essentially people talking in pixels.

It’s been fascinating to watch our users learn this language. Collective vibe slopping is already quite common on the site.

Like any new language, we often start with the curse words. In this case: big anime tits, trump/elon memes, cute animals, and cyberpunk bleh.

But quickly, more complex ideas and discussions emerge. The social nature of the site allows for meaning to form as new corners of pixel space are mined by groups of remixing users.

To put this in GPT sycophan-speak for the recursed:
