my friends, it is time:
in conjunction with @avemariapress and a new book they released, i spent the last few months illustrating the entire structure of the summa theologica, by thomas aquinas.
in my shop here: https://t.co/7BXaOV3Uv7
can i show and tell you, in this thread:
If a person rejects that Jesus is the expected Messiah and the Son of God, such a person cannot lead others on the meaning of the Bible.
It would be like hiring someone to teach Homer’s Odyssey who also denies that Odysseus is present in the story. 🤷🏻♂️
Cafe in America:
Lesbian barista with purple hair, coffee costs $7, they ask for 30% tip, rainbow flag in window
Cafe in Italy:
Served by local in a bow tie, he calls you paisan, costs 1 euro and you enjoy on a nice quiet street with no cars
Italy has changed in the last 5 years. I've been to Italy twice in the last year and the staff at walk-in restaurants and street cafes are increasingly non-Italian and seem to be Bangladeshis or Indians.
As late as 2019, most of the staff were still charming Italians. This is now only the case at expensive places in Italy. Alot has changed in Rome, especially. But the espresso is still perfect! Just don't expect it to be be made by a friendly Italian man with a mustache named Luigi.
Popes are now carried in a Popemobile, and previously in an elevated chair carried by men (Sedia Gestatoria). Popes before 900 processed on a white horse or mule. The honor of leading the horse (or mule) by its bridle was reserved to the officium stratoris, usually for the Christian Emperor. This tradition goes back to the legend that Emperor Constantine did this service for Pope Sylvester (painting below). We do know that King Pepin the Short performed the service for the mounted Pope Stephen II.
To the question of whether I am a "white supremacist," I adhere wholly and without reserve to the 1938 magisterial syllabus of the Sacred Congregation of seminaries and universities approved by Pope Pius XI titled 'Instructio de Racismi Erroribus.'
A lesson for Catholics in 2026:
When God promised a “promised child” to Abraham and Sarah, they doubted His promise because naturally it looked impossible. “We are too old. We can’t procreate. We will die soon.”
They wanted to “help out God” and so they had Abraham fornicate with their housekeeper Hagar who bore Ishmael.
But God still brought about a natural promised child through Abraham and Sarah, who was named Isaac.
Even now Christians want to “help out God” by breaking rules and creating “Ishmael solutions” on the side to “save the Church”.
Let’s let God be God. Wait for His promise. Never doubt the Covenantal Promise of God: The gates of hell shall not prevail.
Catholics, do you believe this:
“The jurisdictional power of the Roman Pontiff is both episcopal and immediate. Both clergy and faithful, of whatever rite and dignity, both singly and collectively, are bound to submit to this power by the duty of hierarchical subordination and true obedience, and this not only in matters concerning faith and morals, but also in those which regard the discipline and government of the Church throughout the world.”
I do. 🏻
Catholic Bishop Robert Barron condemned the America-bashing speech by New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani marking the nation’s 250th anniversary, calling it “appalling.”
Catholic Bishop Robert Barron has urged Christians to organize and vote against radical socialists and communists, saying their success in recent elections is a real threat.
“God resisteth the proud,” (1 Pt 5:5)
He resists the proud, even when they are:
Catholic
Traditional
Liturgically correct
Priests or Religious
Cardinals
Popes
Praying in Latin
Fathers of large families
SSPX, FSSP, ICK, or NO
God always resists the proud. Don't be prideful.
